Guided Tours
During the three flowering months, August to October, the Garden offers Guided Tours. Booking is essential and no tours will be conducted for groups of less than 5 people, weather permitting, maximum of 9 people per tour. The safari vehicle leaves the office building at 14:00 on fine days and lasts approximately two hours to three hours.
(Booking is essential to avoid disappointment, but please feel free to come and enquire at the office about vacant seats on the safari vehicle if you did not make a booking.)

· Free except for flower season

· Adults: R50
· SA students (with card): R20
· Children: R15
Children under 6 years: Free
· BOTSOC members: R45 or free if membership renewal was done by 31 March’23
· Guided walks: R80 pp
· Guided tours with Safari vehicle: R180.00 p.p.
Picnics
The lawns with its trees outside the beautiful old sandstone office building create a lovely place to relax and enjoy your picnic while surrounded by views of tranquil, open spaces, dolerite koppies in the distance and the beautiful sound of Blue Cranes visiting the Garden during our flowering season.
Office
Books, maps, posters and other items are for sale at the Garden Office. Friendly staff will answer your questions to the best of their ability.
A reference Biodiversity Library is being established to serve as a resource for visiting scientists, students, scholars and the local community.
